Step three:

Divide the hair at the bottom of the head from ear to ear.

Step four:

Take small section, place curling wand above section and twist wrap middle of hair

Taking a smaller section, place the ghd classics wave wand above of the section and twist wrap the middle of the hair around the full barrel.

Repeat technique, alternating step 4, 5, 6

Repeat throughout the hair, always alternating the position of the wand above and below the sections for a more textured result.

Step eight:

Work paddle brush through hair

Brush the hair in multiple directions using a ghd paddle brush. This will add a soft texture to the waves.

Step nine:

Take section from top of head

Using both your index fingers, take a section at the top of the head and tie with a clear elastic. When taking the section, rock your fingers up and down to soften the parting.

Step ten:

Pinch roots for texture

Pinch the root area to add a lived in texture to the style.

Step eleven:

Twist pony and fatten the shape

Twist the loose pony, hold the end and push down to fatten the shape.

Step twelve:

Twist back onto itself then secure

Continue to twist the hair until it starts to fold back on itself and secure with a grip.

Step thirteen:

Spray with final fix hairspray and tease

Spritz ghd final fix hairspray in your fingers then massage the waves and top knot for added texture.
